Description
An altogether unprecedented artistic endeavour which won the Thea Award for the world’s most original attraction in 2014. Partly inspired by the imaginary worlds of Jules Verne, the mechanical inventions of Leonardo da Vinci and Nantes’ industrial history, the Machines de l’île stand on the remarkable site of the former shipyards. The Île de Nantes harbours weird and wonderful machines! These extraordinary contraptions come to life before your very eyes. Business evenings and study days, hosting 15 to 3,000 participants: Machine Gallery, Warehouses, Marine Worlds Carousel, La Déferlante Room.
